“Had a fantastic 2 nights at Latitude - idealic location & stunning views. Nicky & John our great hosts & very obliging (the fish quiche was delicious!).
John dropped us off at Punga Cove for a tramp - an excellent 3.5 walk to Furneaux Lodge - topped off by some great pints of Murphy Stout! Who would have thought we'd find a great Irish pass-time in this idealic spot!
Will definitely be back & recommend it to all - great for some R&R!”

The attention to detail you brought to everything from the welcome at the quayside in Waikawa was awesome! From the 8 min sprint across the water to your own floating jetting, the help with luggage up the hill and then to find such tastefully luxurious accommodation waiting with its stunning views across the Sounds, all was superb! And then to sink into the most comfortable beds with their views across the water ensured the best sleep ever!
All that you said and showed on your website was brought vividly to life and gave the most memorable and restorative holiday, with the boat trips and wonderful fishing for blue cod a special highlight. Indeed, breakfast was a feast of fresh fish!

“Our stay at Latitude was a highlight to our trip in New Zealand. We rented Latitude for the opportunity to catch up with several friends and to enjoy the scenery and solitude of the Marlborough Sounds. Upon arriving at Latitude it was evident that the home lives up to the expectations from the photographs online. The home is nestled on a hill overlooking Blackwood Bay, providing a spectacular view of the area. The home itself is wonderfully appointed with all the amenities we need to enjoy our stay. The home is charmingly decorated; cozy and personal, while still sophisticated. The bedroom suites are spacious and private. When we arrive, the smell of fresh jasmine made each room pleasantly inviting. But what makes Latitude such a lovely place to stay is the effort that John and Nicky put into making our stay special and effortless. From my first contact via email with Nicky, she made every effort to accommodate our needs. Upon our arrival, the pantry and refrigerator were stocked with the long list of supplies that we requested, along with Nicky's delicious homemade apricot squares. John happily took the group scallop dredging and we had a wonderful meal of fresh scallops. John and Nicky really made us feel like we were old friends, while still being respectful of the group's privacy. They are truly gracious hosts. It is without reservation that I would recommend a stay at Latitude to my friends.”

“Our family and another had the pleasure of staying at Latitude in July 2011 for 5 days. The two families comprised children ranging from 2 to 12. By way of further background it is fair to say I am quite a selective (read fussy!) traveler, and my high expectations-often heightened by websites that over promise- are more often dashed when I arrive at a place!
We were not to be disappointed at Latitude though! Let's start with the bedrooms-beautiful linen (better than 5 star hotel quality), the most comfy beds, with each bedroom accompanied by its own bathroom facility. Then onto the living and kitchen areas-stunning views are to be had from the whole living area, whilst the kitchen was the best appointed I have ever come across in a holiday home. Lastly and not least, Nicky and John are supreme hosts with every detail catered for, from the freshly caught scallops and homemade brownies that welcomed us to ferrying us to Picton-they could not have been more accommodating. I have already booked our next trip back there!”

We did water stuff, had a day on the track (easy to arrange), met super friendly locals - but more than anything we just enjoyed the beauty and vibe of the place.
